The piece is based on a the idea of - with a nine-man-band - recreating the sound of a CD getting stuck. The chorus line of the disco tune 'That’s the way I like it' has been chopped up into short fragments, the order of the fragments rearranged and the result written out as a score.

The piece won the Drunkenboat's Panliterary Awards for Sound in New York in 2006.

After winning the second price in Icebreaker's International Composers Competition in 2003 it was rearranged for the english chamber ensemble Icebreaker. Since then Icebreaker has performed it all over the world including The Lincoln Centre Festival in New York and The Queen Elizabeth Hall in London.
